Professional Fellowship Programme:
This professional programme is divided into five categories:
- Senior Biblical Researcher
- Biblical Research Fellows
- Associate Biblical Research Fellow
- Biblical Research Financiers
- Student Members
Membership and Eligibility
There are currently five categories of membership:
- Senior Biblical Research Fellows (SBRF): Scholars with a PhD, ThD, DD, or DMin in Biblical Research Studies, theology, biblical studies, pastoral theology, systematic theology, biblical Christian education, missiology, sciences, technology, philosophy, arts, and humanities are eligible. Scholars or researchers promoted first into membership as Fellows before becoming Senior Biblical Research Fellows. Promotion is based on the number of research publication. To be promoted as a Senior Biblical Research Fellow, you must have published 20 research papers in Biblical Research Studies areas and you are qualified to be addressed or called a Research Professor. SBRFs participate in meetings and have the voting rights. Membership is annually is permanent.
- Biblical Research Fellows: They must meet all the requirements in the above (1), but to be promoted as a Biblical Research Fellow, each person must have published 15 research papers in Biblical Research Studies areas and you are qualified to be addressed or called a Biblical Research Fellow and/or an Associate Research Professor.
- Associates: As above, but to be promoted as an Associate Biblical Research Fellow, you must have published 10 research papers in Biblical Research Studies areas and you are qualified to be addressed or called an Associate Biblical Research Fellow.
- Biblical Research Financiers: Those other than biblical scholars or researchers (e.g., philanthropists, publishers, those in wider biblical and theological disciplines, pastors, church leaders, etc.) concerned to promote the purposes of CIBRS.
- Student Members: Undergraduate’s or Master’s-level students in an academic field of biblical research study can become a member. He or she can participate in meetings but do not have voting rights. Membership is annually renewable.

Academic Fellowship Programme:
POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOW
This programme offers opportunities for advanced research, teaching, and professional development in various fields of biblical research studies.
General Requirements
Postdoctoral Research Seminars
Postdoctoral Research Capstone Project (1 Monograph – your discovery and 1 Course Development)
Eligibility: Holder of a PhD, ThD, DMin, DD degree in any field of Biblical Research Studies, such theology, biblical studies, biblical Christian education, etc.
Focus: Biblical Research Studies in any field
Source of Inquiry: The Holy Bible
Certification: Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Biblical Research Studies (Area of Specialisation)
Duration: 1-2 years

PHD/THD BY RESEARCH PUBLICATION & DISSERTATION

Requirement before Graduation: Each Candidate must have published seven (7) original research papers relating to his/her areas of research interest.

Eligibility: A Master’s degree holder in any field of study.
